It’s BIGGER than fundraising

What is The Caddie Campaign?

The Caddie Campaign is a semiannual fundraising drive for the Caddies For Kids charity that takes place each fall and spring. It is specifically designed for registered Caddies in the program to raise money for the organization, while gaining the opportunity to earn a scholarship award based on the amount they raise each year.

How does it work?

The goal of The Caddie Campaign is to raise awareness and fundraising for the Caddies For Kids charity by identifying families, friends, coaches or businesses that would like to support our mission and the future education of our Caddies.

Each Caddie in the program will have the opportunity to participate in the fundraising drive and identify donors. Caddies that raise $1,000 or more will earn 30% of the total money they raise in the form of a scholarship award to be received at the end of their senior year. There is no cap…the more you raise the more you earn!

If you are not a senior, the eligible portion of received scholarship money will be held securely in a scholarship endowment. Each year, deserving seniors will be recognized for their contributions to the program and receive scholarship awards at the Caddies For Kids member appreciation event in May.

Donors must document the Caddie’s name they are supporting at the time of their contribution.

There is no cost or obligation to the Caddie to participate.

What do Caddies have to do?

Caddies will be tasked with identifying families, friends, coaches or businesses to secure donations and raise awareness for the Caddies For Kids charity. To maximize your opportunity for a scholarship award, you will want to ask your top supporters to also share The Caddie Campaign with people they know so you can reach a wider donor network!

Once you identify a donor, you can text or email them the Caddies For Kids donation link where they can make a contribution. Remember - It is important for each donor to enter your name in the comment box or on the note section of a check so you get the credit for that donation amount.

How do Caddies benefit?

If you raise $1,000 or more during the combined fall and spring campaign, you will receive 30% of that total money in the form of a future scholarship award. The more you raise, the more scholarship you earn!

At the end of each campaign, your fundraising totals will be properly recorded and the eligible portion of scholarship money will be held securely in a scholarship endowment. If you are a sophomore or junior, your award will remain in the endowment until the end of your senior year. Once you are a senior, your total amount of money raised during your time in the program will be presented to you in the form of a scholarship award.

How do donors’ benefit?

Caddies For Kids is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), allowing charitable contributions to be tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.

As a donor-funded service, we rely on our donors to make it possible for kids and teens to connect and grow in our program. With donor support, we will continue to enlarge our platform and provide more opportunity for youth development, mentorship and the positive life lessons that golf can instill through our program.

Contributions can be made by an individual or on behalf of a company and will be used for youth grants, college scholarship awards, and program expansion.

Donors that contribute $100 or more become part of Club CFK. Club CFK is an exclusive membership group comprised of our annual donors. It is a way for Caddies For Kids to recognize those who have contributed $100 or more as a Club CFK member.
