What People Are Saying About CFK

“Caddies For Kids has taught me that my true success is measured not only on the golf course but extends through my actions as a human being. The program has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and open myself up to different kinds of people, different cultures, and backgrounds. I have been fortunate to have developed strong relationships with my golf coaches that have given me valuable life skills and the CFK program has given me the opportunity to mentor the junior players coming up in the sport by setting an example for them to follow."

- Isabella L. (Caddie and First Tee Ace Program Participant)

“Caddying for one specific young girl, reminded me of my own father's tough coaching style and the impact it had on me. Seeing her endure the harsh approach of another caddie's dad sparked a deep appreciation for the chance I had to guide her with patience and kindness. I became a source of encouragement, showing her that golf could be enjoyable and that her worth wasn't defined solely by her performance. Witnessing her growth reinforced the importance of being a positive influence and offering gentle guidance to shape a child's future."

- Naomi Q. (Caddie)

“When I first began playing competitive golf, I didn’t really have a role model or mentor to look up to or aspire to. A little while after I had begun playing, I had found a mentor that inspired me to really enjoy the sport while remaining competitive and showed me the power found in women’s golf. That time with her was probably the best thing that could’ve happened to me since I have been playing. When I first went out to caddie in the CFK program, I met a young girl I was caddying for and instantly knew it was my turn to pay it forward. Whether that I was going to be the last time that I would caddie for her or the beginning of multiple seasons together (which it was), I knew that my attitude, language, and encouragement was going to be something to stick with her."

- Aashna P. (Caddie)

"Caddies For Kids has taught me valuable lessons about leadership, communication, and the power of positive influence. The joy and satisfaction I have gained from seeing the positive changes in the lives of kids in the program has inspired me to continue seeking out opportunities to make a difference in my community."

- Jonah W. (Caddie)

“My son Jack scored a personal best on Saturday! He absolutely loved his time with Jonah. He wanted me to email you THAT IT WAS AMAZING in all caps. They seem to be a great pairing and I am so thankful. I enjoyed watching from a distance :). Jonah kept Jack focused, having fun and in great spirits. I have a few tournaments scheduled for Jack that I just put in, requesting Jonah. As a single mom who knows very little about the strategy of golf, I cannot imagine any other way to get through this without your program. Jack's passion is golf and I am happy that I get to keep it going for him.”

- Nicole K. (Junior Player Parent)

“Chiara kept Capri motivated and they had a great time together. She was giving Capri some tips of things that help her in golf and what she has learned along the way. It was so precious and Capri soaked it all in. Capri was able to hit the ball over water and even got a Par. :) Capri got her first medal and was on cloud 9 and slept with her medal on and still has yet to take it off today. We just love this program so much. Thanks for all you do!"

- Heather A. (Junior Player Parent)

“I just want to say how THANKFUL I am for the CFK program! In addition to knowing next to nothing about golf, I do not work in summers so caddying for Kirk falls on me. This is the perfect solution! We had Noah today and he was wonderful. Kirk made a double-bogey right off the bat on the first hole which typically with me or Bill caddying would have resulted in tears and lots of “I hate golf, I want to quit”. He reacts so much better with your caddies— Joe and Noah both have helped talk him through bad shots and keep his attitude positive. This is the first tournament I have actually got to enjoy watching him play instead of tiptoeing around his moods and worrying how he would derail if a shot went poorly."

- Wendy D. (Junior Player Parent)

“CFK is a great organization, that is a blessing to those of us that do not know the game of golf but would like to have assistance with our kids that enjoy and are learning the game. Thank you so much for all you do!"

- Angela C. (Junior Player Parent)

“My sons caddie experience was awesome. It’s hard for him to have a ‘job’ because of his own practice and tournament schedule, so this gave him some work experience while also giving him a chance to share golf & course management knowledge he has.  It feels good to help & mentor others and in my opinion he got just as much out of it as the boy he caddied for may have.”

- Julie C. (Caddie Parent)

“Caddies for Kids is the program we were waiting for! We always wanted to show and teach our kids servant leadership but didn’t necessarily know how. This is the avenue! Our kids have enjoyed being paired up with all of the junior players. Giving them the coaches perspective has even helped our relationship coaching them. I’d recommend it for any team!”

- Paige M. (High School Golf Coach)

“Y'all have a GREAT program! Can't wait for y'all to be picked up by the PGA and sponsored by one of their tournaments."

- Michael M. (High School Golf Coach)

“Caddies for Kids has been a game changer for our family. It helps me when we have conflicting tee times, I don't have kids crying over golf, and I am not constantly frustrated because of my kids behavior and interaction with me when they don't play well. They enjoy it more, and so do I. I tell everyone about it and suggest it to the parents that I know and are still caddying."

- James D. (Junior Player Parent)
