How has the CFK program influenced your life?

"The Caddies for Kids program doesn't just impact the kids we serve, but it serves as a way for me to give back and help others. I have gained so much from my experience. I would not be who I am today without the Caddies for Kids program."

How has the CFK program influenced your life?

"The relationships I’ve made and the lessons I’ve learned along the way are worth much more than what I had envisioned. Seeing these kids smile and enjoy themselves, made me realize that I could make an impact through Caddies For Kids that stretched beyond golf itself. People are what’s most important. I discovered confidence in myself to be able to connect with people and form valuable relationships, a skill that I can use in any facet of life.”

How has the CFK program influenced your life?

“When I first began playing competitive golf, I didn’t really have a role model or mentor to look up to or aspire to. A little while after I had begun playing, I had found a mentor that inspired me to really enjoy the sport while remaining competitive and showed me the power found in women’s golf. That time with her was probably the best thing that could’ve happened to me since I have been playing. When I first went out to caddie in the CFK program, I met a young girl I was caddying for and instantly knew it was my turn to pay it forward. Whether that I was going to be the last time that I would caddie for her or the beginning of multiple seasons together (which it was), I knew that my attitude, language, and encouragement was going to be something to stick with her."

How has the CFK program influenced your life?

"Caddies For Kids has taught me valuable lessons about leadership, communication, and the power of positive influence. The joy and satisfaction I have gained from seeing the positive changes in the lives of kids in the program has inspired me to continue seeking out opportunities to make a difference in my community."

How has the CFK program influenced your life?

“Caddying for one specific young girl, reminded me of my own father's tough coaching style and the impact it had on me. Seeing her endure the harsh approach of another caddie's dad sparked a deep appreciation for the chance I had to guide her with patience and kindness. I became a source of encouragement, showing her that golf could be enjoyable and that her worth wasn't defined solely by her performance. Witnessing her growth reinforced the importance of being a positive influence and offering gentle guidance to shape a child's future."
